ORIGIN & HISTORY

Connection to Christ was birthed from a man who loves people and has a desire for people to walk in their God given purpose. In 2009 God gave Apostle Dizzley an assignment to fulfill, and he and Prophetess Dizzley began working on the vision for Connection To Christ Ministries. Although God begin speaking to Apostle Dizzley in 2009, the vision was for an appointed time. God began to mature both Apostle Dizzley and Prophetess Dizzley as they served in various capacities in ministry preparing them to shepherd God’s people. Having compassion and a love for God’s people and being led by The Holy Spirit in September 2013 the family evangelized in the community as God began to thrust them and unfold the vision.

 

In October of 2013, the church began as a weekly bible study in a local community center with eight members. The first watch night service was held at their home as God prepared them to be launched into the deep. In December of 2013 God blessed the church with a facility and they began to prepare for Sunday services. The first Sunday service was held at 1665 Olive Road in January 2014. At this location God continued to bless and increase the ministry. Apostle Dizzley never allowed the circumstances around him, such as not having a committed musician or a decent office to study in, to stop him from feeding the sheep God blessed him with.

 

In May 2015, three minsters were licensed and one ordained under the leadership of Apostle Dizzley. During the tenue on Olive Road, God continued to bless the ministry with laborers so much so that there was a need for more space and by watch night of 2015, worship was held in the new facility, 1121 Laney Walker Blvd. God continued elevating Apostle Dizzley and he was affirmed as an Apostle on August 12, 2018. Along with the elevation of Apostle Dizzley came elevation of the members. On December 12, 2020, one was affirmed as an Apostle and Jan 3, 2021, four ministers were licensed. Apostle Dizzley along with Prophetess Dizzley continues to have a heart of God and share his love with all that enter the doors to Connection to Christ Ministries. By God’s grace and love the ministry is continuing to grow, which has allowed several sons and daughters to birth successful ministries that impact the Kingdom today. The more Apostle Dizzley seeks God’s face, the more he continues to reveal to him and open doors. Just within the last 6 months Apostle Dizzley has been able to travel to Jamaica and Ghana, Africa spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Because of his faithfulness and humbleness, God continues to manifest for Connection to Christ Ministries. In the words of Apostle Dizzley “My Now is not my Next.
